I spent the day at the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo- the country branch of the wonderful Taronga Zoo in Sydney. It is in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities and as it was not hot most of the animals were out and about not snoozing in the shade.
I was surprised to see the two Coptic Christians -below speaking in Arabic at the zoo. They explained that they were originally from Egypt but had lived in Sydney for over 40 years and were pleased to pose for a photo.
Also before I headed out to the zoo from the motel a group of Harley riders from the Illawarra, south of Sydney, were saddling up for their ride home. A quick shot of one of them.
