Rain,rain go away-and don't come back for months.


It just keeps raining.  And not soft gentle rain but rainstorms-rainbombs . The ground is saturated. Trees are falling over. Major rivers are flooding and large towns are being inundated-again. And it continues day after day.  And our stupid, lying, climate change denying politicians keep talking about once in a thousand year events. Well the major town of Lismore in northern New South Wales has had two once in a thousand year events in the last four weeks. It is totally depressing. First fires, then covid and now endless torrential rain.

Away

 I'm back from a week in Noosa via Surfers Paradise. I took a camera but used it just once-I was not in a camera frame of mind. And if I'm perfectly honest as so few people carry cameras nowadays I felt rather conspicuous the one time I did take it out. Instead I used my iPhone to literally snap a few memory shots from a really great, relaxing week. Here they are:-

On the road again

 



I’m on my way to Noosa in Queensland for a week. I’m taking it in easy stages  I stopped over in Coffs Harbour in northern NSW and now Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast overnight. This photo was taken on my early morning walk today,
