It's a winner-well nearly

Rather pleased this morning to receive an email that one of my photos had been selected for a Mark of Excellence as a finalist in the i-shot-it food photography competition.It would have been nice to have won the cash and Leica camera first prize but the standard of entries was very high and the winning shot is superb so I feel pretty pleased to have been selected in the finalists.See the finalists at i-shot it

Here's the photo taken just a few weeks ago on an early morning walk in Guilin,China.A totally straight shot straight out of the Leica X1 with no  processing and not even any cropping.
