What a contrast!

What a contrast! An awful, vast gas guzzling, mega polluting. black (yuk) Dodge Ram towing a huge boat and occupying three parking spaces spotted mid morning in Terrigal last week.

Below Rosie taking delivery of her new MG4 Electric at Central Coast MG last Saturday. Trying to save the planet one small step at the time.

  1. You are dead right on your analysis and disdain for these ludicrous massive Yank Tanks, John. The cultural cringe is returning to Australia, in music and journalism and most definitely on the roads. There is local real estate agent where I live in Qld with one of these stupid Yank Tanks, black and jacked up to the sky, maybe so he can spot real estate bargains better and find old homes to destroy and rebuild with three houses on the same block, just like has happened to Terrigal. There is even a local guitar teacher / tuner who is driving one of these idiotic Dodge Rams as his work vehicle. Insane. Choking the roads and a definite pedestrian-killing machine, to boot. How many tiny Aussie children have been run over their own driveways by their parents / friends with these idiotic vehicles? three, at least, i read of in the past decade. so idiotic. I don't think electric vehicles are the ideal solution, but at least the city air is a bit cleaner for now. Goodonya for highlighting these bloated idiotic Yank Tanks so often driven by overpaid ego maniacs desperate to show off their new found wealth. Name and shame them!!!
